So.. we picked up the car Saturday. They had it since Monday. We didn't get it home before more problems started happening.
It stalled, it jumped, it ran like crap. They sent a tow truck out, took Jason back with them, he sat there for 3 hours before they told him it wasnt anything THEY did.. we also needed an ignition coil.
At this point Jason told them to take it out of the garage and leave it in the parking lot. It may or may not be true (he changed one a year ago without being aware you should change two at a time) but that was NOT the entire issue.
My Mom came out Saturday and took him to get the coil, put it in and everything. Still didn't run.. but the service engine light wasn't on anymore. So he came home.
Sunday he took the Caddy up and put some gas in, thinking maybe sitting with a low gas tank had anything to do with it. It gave him a bit of trouble and then..nothing. No problems. He ran it all over their parking lot,. gunned it, braked it, did anything he could think of.. no problems.
Except a vibration in the throttle body. We are still almost certain they messed something up but we don't want them touching our car anymore. He came back home with the Caddy (after informing me I was never to drive in it anywhere again) and my Mom came and got him to get our car.
He drove to work and back just fine. So, I don't know. I am sure some work needed to be done I just wish it hadn't wipe out our entire refund.
Oh and Mikey has been sick. Friday night and Saturday night throwing up.. I gave him a cup of water at one point and he tossed it in less than a minute. My Mom came back after taking Jason to the car with some Pepto Bismol, applesauce, crackers and Sprite. He perked up not long after taking the Pepto and has been fine since.
Speaking of Mikey.. I have not been shopping all wek except for a mini race run thru Publix in 20 minuets between getting a rental car and Jason going to work Friday. I told him today I was going shopping tomorrow and if he wanted something to let me know.
He didn't just 'let me know'... he made a list. In Notepad. And sent it to me via Yahoo. Here it is:

That list cracks me up. How funny is he?! Love that. And as for the Veg thing - there are so many soy products and veggie products that taste so much like "the real thing" that really you'd never know. Boca makes these chicken nuggets and chicken patties that I buy all the time. And then there's all those veggie burgers that have grill marks on them just like "real" burgers. That stuff has come a long long way. But I see cheeseburgers on Mikey's list, so maybe you have a little time :-)
You can have a whole museum in your house of different cereals if you buy everything on that list! I also love #8. Ice cream -all kinds. HA! How adorable.

Ann Marie, how you made me laugh when I needed a laugh! Bless his little heart. Be glad he likes cereal, even if it isn't the best kind for him.
